The possibility of this law being signed came up here a few weeks ago. At that time, I remarked that the cnc could assign the SS to anyone going anywhere to speak on any subject, and absolutely no one could voice their opinion on the subject because they would be arrested.

I also said..and this is the tricky part, what's gonna happen at town hall meetings now?
Alrighty, you're at one of the meetings. The purpose of these meeting is to voice your opinion about a problem you have with the speakers platform..

So, you stand up, tell them in your opinion, that the bill they just signed off on, or voted for, is destructive. Unknown to you, there are SS folks in the audience.

What happens next should be obvious at this point. You are a felon.

I just listened to Judge Napolitanio talking about it on Fox. The host asked him if he thought the law would be enforced. The Judge said, it depends. If the folks doing the yelling are supporting a socialcrat, nothing will happen. If the folks doing the yelling are complaining, off to jail they go.

    Selective prosecution at it's best.

Your 1st amendment rights just went down the tube.

BTW, both socialcrats, and Republicans voted for it. If the Republicans think for a minute that the law will protect them from the lunatic fringe, they're wrong. None on the lunatic fringe of the left will be arrested by bHo's boys. Well, maybe two, just for show.

Think ....The New Black Panthers. Uniformed and clubs in hand....any arrests? Nah, they're homies, bro.

We have the best form of government in the world, if only it wasn't filled by self-serving people with no integrity.

This is bad. They are all just as bad as the rest. Republicans backed this bill also. Our government has allowed the sell out of our country. They are afraid the people will catch on to this scam and they want protection.

    Vote all of them out.

I aint protesting, I'm voting. I just hope it gets counted correctly. Besides I'll probably never even see an SS.

So set up a mass protest. Not a single voice, but 100 at least. Appeal all the way to the supreme court on the lack of constitutionality of the law.

We have three sections of government for a reason...if one or two do something wrong the third should be there to correct it.

How could the congress sell us down the river like that?

The UK has similar rule: You can be arrested if you are protesting too close to the houses of parliament.

0, like dictators all over cannot stand criticism and only wants yes-men around him.

Utterly amazing. How long until this "protection" is extended to the Internet, that anywhere an SS member is online we cannot express ourselves?

With all the talk about the Secret Service and people using SS, my first thought is the Waffen SS of world war II, I guess because we are getting so close to the way they were.

I can't think of any reason for any politician to turn down SS protection.
Anybody who comes near them and has anything negative to say, automatically goes to jail. What a deal.
