I've been searching and couldn't find out what is and is not legal for use in Illinois. Can anyone fill me in on Illinois laws? Thanks.

If I understand them correctly, a private individual can not own any NFA controlled things in Illinois.

Yep no private ownership of Full Auto, SBR, AOW, or Silencers allowed in IL unless you are a licensed firearms manufacturer.

Yep no private ownership of Full Auto, SBR, AOW, or Silencers allowed in IL unless you are a licensed firearms manufacturer or somehow best friends with Dicky Daley.

    OR, maybe Dicky Daily's bodyguard.

Sorta like Rosie, no guns and prison if caught with one but has armed bodyguards around her at all times.....

Darn it, I figured IL law would prohibit such a thing. This state sucks for being a gun owner. I hope I see better luck in Az because I think thats where I'll be moving later this year.

From reading the post with the laws would kits like MP40's and PPSHs be illegal in Ill?-kinda sounds like it.

Only if they were made into a complete full auto.

Class 3 dealers are also allowed possession. This state sucks for NFA.
