    Why are children such a burden?

    Why as a father of four, do people feel the need to ''shame'' me over my ignorance on the causes and effects of reproduction?

    Why are children no longer celebrated, but to be dreaded, prevented, limited?

    Neutering a cat, or I suppose any animal requires castration, the removal of the testicles. When a male human gets "fixed" it usually is a vasectomy which requires the closing of the vas deferens, thus leaving the testicles intact and fully functional.

    Quit talking with liberals. We conservatives love our children. We don't want to kill them off before birth. We celebrate life. If those are the opinions you see regularly, you need to spend more time here and less time with loony lefties.

    As to LoneWolf. MANY CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

    i'm really happy to hear your good news Lonewolf, but i really, really hope that neither of you has any unnatural operations. there are natural means of birth control if you don't want any more kids at the moment, but sterilization is a one way street! :eek: please, please don't make any decisions that you will regret later!

    In reply to your statement now that I have thought bout what you were sayin in depth here it is. I didn't say they were a burden, one of us is gettin fixed as we don't really want anymore and I can barely support us now. We will re qualify for govt assistance with this new child and I was just off 2 yrs ago of it cept fer kids insurance.
    If you want a whole passel of kids and you can support em then more power to ya. Since I can't support anymore I don't want anymore surprises. Just my feelins on it.
