It came with a 22lr and Magnum cylinder and has a little bluing wearing at the end of the barrel plus a few nicks I guess that gives it a little character.Also,a nice cowboy holster.The serial numbers start with 60-xxxxx so I guess it was made in 1970/71.
I don't know how important the safety bar transfer resting over the firing pin is but with proper gun safety I think it will be fine the way it is.
Someone in the past must have fell or dropped a pistol with a loaded chamber causing the gun to fire at one time to make them standard in newer pistols.I prefer to leave it as is OLD SCHOOL.
