Installation direction for "friction ring" on Browning A-5

    From what I read not having them lined up it causes them to not close at the right time and pressure and that would effect the timing of the cycle.
    They have to apply the right amount of pressure at the right time to slow up the recoil of the barrel so it cycles at the right time and not slam back.Or not go back far enough to cycle.
    The more they close the tighter they get thus slowing down the action/cycle.
    Not having them lined up will require more pressure to close them.
