Got this piston from a friend about 30 years ago. Its a reliable single action working replica of a classic design.

I found some good information on your Dragoon revolver at this site:

    http://www.singleactions.com/VADragoons.pdf

They were very well made revolvers and prices are still fairly high compared to other SA's of the period.

I remember Numrich used to have parts, should you ever need anything: www.gunpartscorp.com

    Hey Mark,
Thank you very much for that. I have enjoyed the dragoon shooting it at least once a year for 30 years. Its a very accurate flame thrower. Much better with the pacthmar grips then with the stock walnuts...

In Stainless it is a very nice match of form and function. As beautiful and formidable as the name implies. The dragoon in .44mag is a real hog leg and is a powerful big bore pistol.

Interarms took the swiss design and improved on it with the American later models and using both innovations of the Swiss safety and improved SS mix. A contemporary classic. The Interarms Virginian Dragoon.

Thanks again for sharing your knowledge brother!
