I have read some info that you can build your own AR-15 from various manufactures.

    What route is best/cheaper?

    What to look for?

    Where to start?

I built one about 20 years ago using a Bushmaster lower and military issue parts that I somehow acquired. The whole rifle cost me $186.00 to build.:D:D

This one is pretty much the way it is. I do have a YHC BUIS for it tho.

Crappy pic of the bipod as its not really attached (just resting on it).
