I have an Ithaca 1889 Shotgun, Baker model. SN# 10058 side by side 12 gauge. It has hammers, works great, with some tarnishing and the top of the barrels say Damascus Steel. The butt plate is original as well as the stock. All pieces have original and matching SN#s. It shows markings of a B, D, and 12 on the reciever as well it shows Pat. May 23,1880, June 1, 1880, and Sept 13, 1887.. I has engravings throughout the barrels and receivers. Can anyone help me with a little more information and value on the gun?

Might not be a Baker, that is just what I think it is?

As the Admin. pointed out, pictures are a great tool for getting values from the experts (not I). Post pics of the gun showing as many angles as you can, any lettering, stampings, proof marks and so on.
Welcome to the forum Dallasdog! Stick around and you wont regret it.

10-4, I will try to post some pictures tomorrow when I can. Is there anywhere to get a rough estimate without the pictures?
