Alot of people call people against obama racist. Thats bs. Just cuz hes black or whatever the hell he is, they say its wrong to be against him. In my opinion he is a gun grabbing liberal who would love to take our guns away and allow our government to tell us what we should do and think. Ill keep my guns and protect my family from foreighn and domestic threats.

If he was white, I would still vote for McCain. He doesn't have the experience and as much as I hate to admit it, a Washington insider would be more efficient than a maverick. It's a good thing that the President doesn't do much but we still need a strong leader/figure head.

"Racist" is just another PC way to attempt to silence conservatives, or anyone for that matter, from expressing their opinions.
The same with Islamaphobe, homophobe, facist, gun nut. I, personally, could give a rats ass what they want to call me. I'm comfortable with myself and that is all I really care about. Call me what you want.
I usually keep to myself unless I'm pushed. Then it is "don't ask a question if you don't want my answer".
Most of the people I work with are EXTREMELY liberal. After 11 + yrs, they pretty much know where I stand politically, patriotically, gun rights and so forth.
I think they believe that I am just slightly to the right of Attila (sp) the Hun.
    COOL !!!

azsigman you are exactly right. The libs use all those words in an attempt to identify conservatives with a belittling label. If there were a black person or person of any race that had the same political ideologies and beliefs as mine I would vote for that person. My answer to them....It's the politics stupid, not the race.

Now I'll go one further and take the risk of being called racist again: In my opinion both Obama and his wife are racist. She did not write the thesis she did without having racist feelings. They did not go to that racist church for twenty years just for the potluck dinners!

I agree that Mr and Mrs Obama are complete racists and for the reasons you stated and more.
Further, I cannot shake the comment he made in one of his books..paraphrasing , he will side with the Muslims should the political climate turn in that direction.
I do NOT trust him as far as I could throw him.

I recall an old Gary Larson cartoon that went something like this with a guy yelling at his dog, "blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, BAD DOG, blah blah blah blah blah."

It is our responsibility to allow anyone/everyone else to say the word(s) "race" or "racist." Reason is, as has been shown by some that have come over to the forum to challenge the stands on the gun issues, is the way people "hear."

As soon as I say, "it isn't about race." The recipient of the message hears, "about race." If I say, "I am not a racist," the recipient hears, "I am a racist." We have then continued the thought of the racist issue and thus have substantiated the thought, although an incorrect thought. In short, if we recognize the content of that message, we then qualify the issue.

The best argument, even if those that we are speaking to bring up race or racist, etc... is to stick to the facts as they are about the issues. As soon as anyone recognizes the thought of race, even if it is to discredit that issue, we then give the issue credence, instead of responding with, "these are the facts as to why I will not vote for Obama...."

Since the idea has no credibility, we cannot give it such by speaking to it. A non-issue cannot be discussed. Let the NObama supporters continue to speak of race. After all, it is their issue and not mine.

FYI, for me this Presidential race has absolutely nothing to do with Obama's race. I wouldn't vote for him no matter what his race happens to be simply on his liberal stance on all the issues.

What needs to be addressed is why 90% of the black community plans to vote for him. Do they like his policies or are they voting for him simply BECAUSE of his race? :D

Bingo...it is wrong to vote for somebody just because they are the same race/religion as you are. Imagine if Obama was a white conservative...he wouldn't stand a chance against the liberal brutality! As far as I'm concerned, people who will vote for Obama are 1.) Racist or 2.) Just plain moronic. Most likely, it is a combination of the two.

The obvious here is the testament Senator Obama is Black, as in negroid or true African.......A simple genetic test will verify that accusation/qualification. Personally, I suspect, ( leaving oout his white mother's genetic contribution), he's a lot more Semetic, than negroid. An occurance, BTW, not uncommon in Africa.

However, the real issue isn't the Senator's race. Its his antipathy to basic American mores and morality as experienced during his formative youth. An exposure now being artfully hidden behind a "racism" smoke screen carefully crafted by the DNC. By his own admission, Obama is ambivalent to Christian morality, familiar with the precepts of Islam, and intimate with Communist and Socialist radicals expounding a pogrom of confrontation and conflict.

Is this the sort of individual we want to elect to "unite" America ? >MW
