    seeking manufacture date, and approximate worth, appears to be .38 cal.? measured bore of barrel and cylinder did not have dial indicator came up 3/8" +1/64 on inch scale veneer caliper, revolver is 5 shot, has american bulldog stamped in top strap, not on barrel, supposedly indicated 1st edition? has 95% nickel intact and excellent grips.

    my personal recommendation is to never fire any black powder only revolver because you don't know how it has been treated for the last 100 plus years. if in shootable condition keep it that way by NOT firing it any more.
