No, no pictures, Pogoat, use the search forum , read some of the entries and see just what is needed to correctly identify your firearms. Then re post with the information

i will wait for the pictures to be posted, but it is a second model. these patent dates on the left side of the barrel were used between 1900 and 1904. what is the letter code on the left side of the barrel under the grips?

the pictures helped determine the caliber and barrel length. it is a small frame 32 S&W second model safety automatic hammer hevolver. the letter code is either 1900=A, 1901=E or 1902=F. there is a small chance that it could be manufactured in 1903 as the the cut off between 1902 and 1903 has yet to be determined, but usually the 1904 (with the F letter letter codes) have the patents on the bottom of the butt.

the barrel length is measured from the muzzle to the forcing cone, it is 4 inches.

about 950,000 of these were sold between 1897 and 1908, mainly for personel protection. they changed letter codes every year except for 1903/1904 and 1907/1908. most of that 950,000 were not carried or used very much, but lay in a drawer in the bedroom.

SECOND MODEL SAFETY AUTOMATIC HAMMER REVOLVER
    (Black Powder Cartridges)------------1896-1908
LARGE FRAME AND SMALL FRAME VERSIONS USES HAMMER THE HAMMER ACTION: Double top post barrel latch, nickel finish standard, blue optional, hard rubber grip panels with Owls head at top. Hammer the Hammer action, two frame sizes, and three calibers. Only difference between the first and second model is the barrel latch. Main serial number location on left side of grip frame grips must be removed to see. The Second Model features a double top post barrel latch, flat leaf hammer spring and two cross pins in the lower frame.
