When, or Did, you ever read Catcher in the Rye? I read a copy in my uncle's attic when I was 13.

I think I read it about 12 years ago. A decent book, although I wasn't reading it when it first came out, so it wasn't so scandalous.

about 1977ish. To tell the truth, Cathcher in the Rye was the book that got me into reading for enjoyment. I've recently begun another book I first read in 1980 - Shogun.

Never read any of Salingers other stuff.
