    Re: June Giveaway #1

OK guys you have a few days left to enter. I just finished the last set, and now they are ready for the initials.
I just went ahead and built one full size and one Officers set so I would have both models covered. I also went ahead and cut the Ambi Safety on both sets, so I would have that covered. If it is not needed, it is not noticeable anyway. Should it be needed now or in the future. As it is handed down in the family someday there might be a lefty involved.

After you are announced winner just contact Shooter45 and he has my permission to reveal my email address. Then you may contact me for the final phase of the drawing. My contact information is also on my web site, that can be found in my signature line below.
Thanks for entering and Good Luck.

Well guys and gals, Woodnuts fine grips came in the mail this afternoon so I got busy and installed them on a couple of 1911's. I'm having trouble deciding which gun to keep them on. Maybe you all can advise me.
I want to thank Woodnut (Carl) once again and a big thanks to TFF. I guess I will have to come up with some tidbit for a future drawing.:D

Hey Clinger, if you had told me you had a mag well on one of the guns, I could have given you a square cut bottom on the grips. But they don't look bad with the bevel. some folks had rather have the bevel as sq. anyway.
    Glad you got them OK.

Heh! I didnt even notice that. Still looks good to me. Which one of the 1911's do you think should end up as the home for the grips?

Personally I like them on the A1 Black trigger. That looks awesome to me. (All Black except the grips) then the black lettering and wings kick in. Just my opinion.

That was the plain Jane gun that I mentioned when I entered the drawing. Dont look so plain Jane now! I love it.
