I own three Keltec sub2000s: 1st gen sub2000 40 cal glock gen 1. excellent, reliable great little truck gun to fold under the seat. I recently bought a sub2000 gen 2 9 mm glock and sub2000 gen 40 cal beretta for my son. we purchased mec gar magazines and pro mag hicap mags for the beretta. no problem with mec gar 10 rd mags first time thru then ammo started jamming. With promag hicap mags, we could not use them without jamming. we're using Brazer Brass rounds and i'm going to try the federal s&W ammo see if it helps but is there a reliable magazine one would recommend for the sub2000 40 S&W Beretta carbine?

My Sub2000 is in 9mm and takes the 92F magazines so I really can't tell you much about the .40. I have only Beretta magazines for mine and have never tried other brands in it or the CX4 storm I used to own.

I have always thought that pro mag makes some pretty good magazines (at least AR). I wish I had some information to offer you. At least I can say welcome to The Firearms Forum.

Dave have a 9mm gen 2 glock mags. Flawless performance. IMHO it doesn't pay to use offbrand mags other than Magpul. I suggest you visit KTOG will learn all you want to know about Kel Tecs and then some.

I have the sub2000 40 cal glock gen 1 and 9 mm gen 2. both work great. Bought the 40 cal beretta gen 2 for my son. I was recommended the pro mag and mec gar magazines. pro mag hi caps jammed. the mec gar worked fine first time thru then started jamming repeatedly. i'm beginning to think its the ammo. I got a good buy on Blazer Brass ammo 180 gr. and have shot it in my Glock 23 without problem. Bought some Federal 40 cal and some reloads to see if any of them are a problem.

Try the different ammo but in my experience pro-mags are pretty junky. Sometimes you can get a good working one but usually not worth a darn
