Got tropical storm winds now, about 48mph steady, had one gust to 92mph, lots of rain and have lost power briefly 2 times already.

The worst is not yet ashore, expecting that in about 2 hours and should last for 10 to 14 hours.

Expecting 110mph winds sometime in the next 4 hours.

So far no damage or flooding but the storm is really just getting ashore.

    Will post again when able.

    Thanks for the good thoughts.

All you fellow floridians hunker down and be safe.

    See yall later, god willing.

    JuJu(dry and safe,,, for now)

Juju is probably getting hammered now (7:40a) or the worst of it has gone over him. :( Down to a CAT. 1 now. Worst I've gottn so far is some heavy rain and gusts over 30mph. My turn will come around 2:00p but by that time it will be down to a Tropical Storm. We have had some power outages in the south part of the county. Just expect a lot of rain.

Hope you all are going to get through this OK.....I've been watching the storm on the weather channel all morning. I'd hate to be in any part of Florida right now. Seems the storm is covering the whole state to some degree. I WOULD like to see one or two of those stupid weather reporters get blown away. Do they really have to stand out in the midst of the storm and shout into their mike to effectively report on this thing? It's stupid by my way of thinking. One of the reporters just on couldn't even stand up in the wind but still braved the storm. But, maybe it wouldn't be sensational enough otherwise.........
