I checked out the ad for the 10-packs of targets listed tonight, and almost got screwed. I ordered 20 of the item advertised by Amazon at $.99 each; when the checkout appeared, it was for $200! The ad says 10 @ $.99, but in fact the offer is for 10-packs priced at $.99 per target. Very deceptive, though it's really not a bad price. Just be certain of what you order before you click Go!
As they taught me in Latin class, Caveat Emptor! It certainly is false advertising, but I don't think Amazon edits the advertising they accept from sellers, and Slickguns just finds ads for us. No one to blame but the actual seller here.
The only unusual thing is that they charge $5 shipping for each 10 pack. The seller of these targets claims they are running a promotion to get customers to try out their targets for as low price as possible.
Now that I read the comments on the original post on slickguns, it appears that they had some issues with the shipping costs for about 4 hours yesterday. Maybe that confused the OP.
All I saw was a total of over $200 and I bailed out. There was no confusion there.
