1 1/2 lbs. ground beef, venison, etc.
1 envelope Lipton onion or onion-mushroom soup mix
3 cans (8oz each) tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 package (8oz) broad egg noodles, cooked and drained
1/2 lb. mozzarella cheese, shredded
In large skillet, brown ground beef. Drain off fat. Stir in soup mix, tomato sauce and water. Simmer covered, stirring occasionally, for 15 min. in lare greased Dutch oven, spoon enough sauce to cover bottom. Alternate layers of noodles, sauce, and cheese. Bake (covered) 30 minutes or until bubbling over hot coals. Add some coals the lid to keep the heat even.
