Long Slide .45 Auto

    I've seen the Springfield Armory long slide. Do other companies make one also?

    The AMT is a 7" bbl, all the rest are 6". There was a rumor that since CZ bought out Dan Wesson, they may bring back the 7" hardballer longslide...........I'm hoping and praying!:)

    Les Baer , STI and SV all make a longslide 1911.

    In the dark ages folks like Jim Hoag, Charlie Kelsey, Ray Wilson/Bill North and others made long slides by welding front pieces of slide to a five inch slide. Six inch barrels were required, the S&W MTU barrels being the cool ones followed by Barsto.

    The worst of these was better than a Hardballer!!!
