Does anybody know where to find resonably priced full length rifle die sets.I would like to get a set of .308 caliber and a set of .270 win caliber. The couple of places I checked with don't have either caliber available.I would be more that happy with good used dies.Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have spent a pile of money at Mid-way over the years, but found Mid-south shooters a couple years ago. And found there prices lower on everything.

Is buying a used set of reloading dies sight-unseen a good idea?

Maybe yes, maybe no, but it depends on the condition which you only have the sellers opinion on. Die sets cost under $50 and some sets under $25 NEW! Why would a person risk buying them sight-unseen, pay the shipping, only to be disappointed?

What can go wrong? Missing parts, rusted interior, wrong shell holder or other parts in the box, faulty dies placed for sale to recoup costs!

If a person were to gamble on a set of reloading dies, I think a much safer bet is to buy them at a gun show where you can at least inspect them. I only buy NEW ones.... I'm not much of a gambler and don't trust sellers on E-BAy or other auction sites.

Just my opinion and yours may differ.
