hi folks, just left guns america totally confused. i have a pair of m1 carbines, all wood intact, no rust. both gm's, barrels dated 6/44 and 8/43, arlington, va. s/n's 5383xx and 1087xx respectively. the stock on #1087 has the number 490623 stamped in large characters. what is a reasonable value on these ? no way it could be what i saw. bought them about 15 years ago just cause i thought they were cool. paid maybe 75.00 or 85.00 each. thanks for your insight. just love this forum and all the members.

Most early model carbines I see for sale are in the $400 to $500 dollar bracket.
