M1 Garand question

    berdan, CAN be reloaded.. just have to deal with tearing the primer out and having berdan primers on hand. just because I like to own tools.. I got the lil needlenose pliers looking jobs that peirce and pull the primers.. someone here or on another list posted about finding berdan primers..e tc..


    as for the crimp? lyman and others make some great tools.

    I ran thru a few hundred milsurp 3006 brass a while back.. every one of them crimped. a good 20 or so with a crimp that was ginormous!

    PP crimp reamer and then a pocket truing tool made short work.

    I have a manual hand tool set.. but treated myself to the automated 5 head station and it is great!

    I use a chamfer tool to remove the military primer crimp.

    i got a wasr10 that eats brass.. every case mouth has a crease in it.... i feed it ONLY milsurp or otherwise steel cased ammo.. and save my brass reloadable 762x39 for my sks's
