I was wondering if anyone can give me a little info on this old rifle I
have. It is a Marlin 1893 in 25-36. I'm not sure about grading it
but the bluing looks pretty good for the most part, maybe 70 percent
or so. There is a crack in the stock near the lever. Let me know if there
are any other details I need to look for. I would appreciate any info
on it that can be passed along.
Sorry, the pics aren't too good.

  2. Good shape %60-%80 would be around $1250
Depending on how bad the crack in the is stock the price can decrease

Here's a little info for you......The Model 1893 rifle was made from 1893 to 1936 in the calibers .25-36 Marlin, .30-30 Win., .32 Spl., .32-40 WCF, and .38-55 WCF. It came with 20 to 32 in. round or octagonal barrels, blue or case colored receivers (the case-colored are worth more), 10-shot tube magazine and straight grip stock.

This model had two barrel variations - one marked "special smokeless steel" and the other "for Black Powder".

Later production guns were marked "Model '93" and have less value.
