Hi all. Greetings. My question is concerning a Marlin 1895 model 45/70 lever-action rifle. I can across a used one for sale, although it seems practically new. I checked bore, stock, etc... All seems fine. How much should of these go for in the condition I just mentioned? Thanks to all in advance!

The year built plays a factor. The newer versions have a hammer block safety while the older versions did not. 350-450 is the range. Make sure it does not suffer from the marlin jamb. Ask the seller if it has a problem with loading 2 rounds into the carrier when cycling the lever. Its about a 150.00 fix.
