The A prefix tells me it was most likely from either just befoire WWI or just after. Serial number references wont work on guns made after 1906, and serial number 355,600 approx., so don't waste time trying them.
If you post the entire rolstamp info on the barrel, and tell me if it has a "bullseye in the buttstock, or a star stamped on the upper tang, behind the hammer. Then I can determine for sure the time or era it was made.-Vall
