i'm trying to see if the distance from the inside front edge of the front tube band to the inside front edge of receiver stays the same through different models and years. if any one has one they would be willing to measure and post w/ measurement, model and year it would be greatly appreciated.

It changed when they shortened the loading tube to conform to NJ law. went from 17 shot to 14 shot. I have a 1972 glenfield, the length is 19.75 inchs.
