I've shot several boxes of the Magtech and had ZERO issues in a P220 and 1911 Gov-70. The brass has been very suitable for reloading as well, would not hesitate to buy again. Never shot the MFS.

I have shot Magtech in .38 Special, and it's been good.

I agree with the others. Magtech (CBC) is Brazilian, and is excellent. I've used it for years. MFS, on the other hand, I have no experience with. Hungarian, ain't it?

Before I began reloading I used the Magtech in .380, 9mm and 45ACP. NO negative issues to report. All the rounds went downrange and cycled thru my handguns just dandy.

I've only shot 50 rounds of Magtech through my Springfield XD45, worked OK.

I bought two boxes of MFS 9mm FMJ at Cabela's yesterday and shot them last night. Out of 100 fired, I had five duds -- didn't fire. I switched to Winchester SXZ and no problems. I'd steer away from the MFS.

Have used Magtech for many years, evey calibre they produce, absolutely perfect.Only problem experienced is with their standard 22 LR with occasional misfires just recently, their 22 Hv ,no problem. As I`m the other side of the pond, prehaps it had been stored to long before reaching me.

Thanks, John. I've been doing more surfing than posting, but figured I probably better share my experience with the MFS ammo. Don't think it was my gun, XD 9mm sc, but others may have a different experience. I guess it's buyer beware with this stuff.

At our local range where you have to buy their ammo they use Magtech. Never had a single problem with either the .380 or the .45.

Well, I actually have two. My first gun was an XD 40 with 4" barrel, now has about a thousand rounds through it. The more I shoot, the better it gets -- just one awesome gun with zero problems. Seems well balanced and handles 40 s&w's very comfortably.

Last week I bought the XD 9mm SC, which has the 3" barrel. I've only shot about 300 rounds through it, but I can tell it will be just like it's big brother. Overall, I'm VERY pleased with both XD's.

I had considered getting a Kahr PM40, PM9, or Walther PPS 9mm before ordering the XD 9sc. The XD is a little heavier and slightly thicker, but much more reasonably priced and based on the reliability of my XD 40, I felt the XD 9sc might give me more peace of mind. Plus it comes with two magazines. I plan to use the XD 9sc as my EDC gun as soon as I get more rounds through it, and it should do fine.

I have used Magtech .44 magnum and if I remember right I had a couple on FTF out of two boxes (100 rounds), I have never heard of MFS.
