Minnesota Wild Rice Casserole

    1 lb. lean ground beef, venison, etc.
    1 cup wild rice
    2 tablespoons butterr
    1/4 cup chopped onion
    1/4 cup chopped greeen pepper
    3 cups beef bouillon
    Salt & Pepper to taste

    Wash rice and drain well. Melt butter in skillet. Saute onion and green pepper until tender. Add ground beef to pan and simmer until meat is brown. Add rice and saute another 5 min. Place rice/beef mixture with S&P in greased Dutch oven. Heat beef bouillon in skillet and pour over mixture in Dutch oven. Cover Dutch oven and place over medium coals. Cover with more coals and bake for about 1 1/2 hrs., until rice is tender. SERVES: 4-6
