model 100

    Hi,I have a model 100 winchester in .243 maufactured in 65',It is perfect.It was found in closet bolt was jammed forward.So it had to be dissassmbled the internals have very little wear.It has the oak leaf stock.I cant find another in .243.Please help.

    Have you searched all the online gun auctions? Have you done a google search for Winchester 100? Thats my suggestion. Good luck.

    Thanks for the advice yes I have searched the gun auctions.And I have googled it.Also looked in alot of gun shops.I know the the 100's production started in 1961 and they were offered in .243,308 and I believe 284.I have found lots of 308's a very few 284's however I have not found a .243.I know they are not that rare.Just have never seen one with a price on it.Thanks for welcoming me.I will be around now that I know about this sight.

    A Winchester Model 100 in perfect condition books for $500. In .243 caliber it is worth another $25.
