model 49 bodyguard in nickel

    i recently got a smith and wesson model 49 bodyguard in .38 spl it is a nickel finish i would say the gun is 98% the serial number is J6906XX approxiamtly what is this gun worth and what is the year or manafucture?

    BTW.....if you don't already have them, a nice set of Pachmayr rubber grips make shooting your little baby much more pleasant.
  4. Indeed they do, X! I never have figured out why S&W used to always put those atrocious factory grips on their snubbies.
