I have a Wilson Combat that performs beautifully...

But i have to say the Ed Brown Kobra I got recently may be a superior gun.

Why have more than one 1911?
Have you heard the term "addiction"?

    That's one unique wallpaper! :D

I just bought one (just one); Springfield Stainless 5".
Went to Bass Pro Shops on Sunday and shot the snot out of an 8" bull pasty target, plastered on the back wall of the range. No wasted rounds.

Not too bad, considering I haven't shot a .45 since 1984 when the Corps changed to 9mm..

Many of you know I have alot of 1911s and am not stopping anytime soon. I have been eyeballing the new remington r-1 carry 1911 and just havent pulled the trigger on the purchase yet. And then I get my new issue of Guns and Ammo today and on the cover is a picture of the new remington r-1 carry commander! Rut row, looks like I just found number 23! Ka pow!

Na, there are folks here that have more than I do. I just am glad I waited because I didnt know they were going to build a commander. Its an all steel version, not a lightweight. Imagine remington building a commander...

You can never have too many 1911s. I just gave one of mine away the other day. It went to my daughter for Christmas:D:D

Carried a M1911A1 8-10 hours a day, 5-6 days a week for 30+ years, and currently own five: 1945 vintage Ithaca - now honorably retired to safe queen status, Springfield Armory parkerized GI Model - now discontinued; Colt Mk.IV Series 70 Government Model; Remington 1911R1; Norinco M1911A1 - it was one of those deals that was just too good to pass up.
