If you have a No. 3 Mossberg Peepsight, I love to know if you like to sell it. I have an old Model 30 Mossberg with no rear Peep sight. Unless anybody else knows where I can get one. Thanks

    i explore,
    Check your email.
We can make you a guard if we can get a pattern from you. Don't know the difference between the model 45b and any of the other modeos that Ron is presently making. I am sure we can hook you up somehow though. Click on this link to get some comments from other satisfied people.

I have a couple of Mossberg M44 US models that I bought from the CMP. They are sold out now and I wouldn't part with mine for any reason.

I love the old Mossbergs. My M152 was the first gun I bought at our local gunshow, and gave me the bug! I like the folding fore end, and found two 15-round magazines (paid more for the maggs than for the rifle!).
Followed it with the M146B with T-bolt handle (rebuilt from a rusted ruin), the 640KD Chuckster (actually the Revelation store brand), the M34 singleshot (ultra-sensitive trigger makes it a looker rather than a shooter), the M42M (currently wearing a Marble-Goss target aperture rear sight and Ruger 10-22 ring and blade front sight), and finally the M320BB singleshot (old Boy Scout trainer - not pictured here).

Since I collect .22rf single-shot stuff ALMOST exclusively (main exceptions are Mossberg Brownie, and Gevarm semi-auto .22 rifles) the ONLY Mossie rifle in my collection is this old Model L pictured below. (Take note, Torpedoman.)

Already got various bolt actions but needed a specimen of a martini-style action.

Even came with the original S108 peep sight.

I have a 142A just like yours. I am looking for a 142K with the T-bolt handle. They are hard to find

You won't find one...unless someone switched bolts from a early 142A.

The 142A was made from 1949 - 1957 with only the early ones having the T on the bolt handle.

The 142K was made from 1953 - 1957, long after Mossberg went back to the ball on the bolt handle.

    Hi,
New to the forum. Just picked up a nice old Mossberg 146B from a guy I work with for $80.00. The only thing that it's missing are the original swivels. I'm really amazed how nice it shoots.
