    Range Report over here: http://www.thefirearmsforum.com/showthread.php?t=79371

I have 4 Colt 1911s, 2 Berettas (M9, 84), and a number of revolvers. I was always of the mind set that I would never own a tupperware gun. But look what happened to me today:

    My .45 ACP Springfield Armory XDm-45 1.jpg
    .45 ACP Springfield Armory XDm-45 no SN.jpg
    My .45 ACP Springfield Armory XDm-45 4.jpg
    My .45 ACP Springfield Armory XDm-45 (2).jpg

I always liked the look and features of the Springfield XDm but it was not in my favorite caliber. Now it is! I can't wait to shoot it!

Nice. To bad you couldn't come to last Sat/Sun Montgomery gun show, they had a .45acp XD (I don't think they had an XDm in .45acp). Well, give a report when you can, I hope to make a report on mine, tomorrow.

Nice gun! I was the exact same way about not accepting polymer guns for the longest time. I was even one of those guys who poked fun at them....."tupperware guns", "dishwasher-safe" etc. Then I tried a Glock and had my eyes opened. Have not looked back since. I still love my 1911's to the end, but each has it's place and the times, they are a-changin'.

You either embrace change, or get left behind. When it comes to personal defense, you do NOT want to get left behind.

I got it for $699, pricey but I didn't want to wait for it.

And it came with a year range time.
