MY FRIEND GOT A SMITH AND WESSON

    some lady gave it to him .32 made in california? 1st model? had some other name on it he said it is the cheapest pistol he has ever seen, he went to get ammo for it but ammo did not fit so now he is getting .32 long i think he said:D

    If it's made in California it's not a Smith and Wesson. They have always been made in Massachusetts.

    I'm thinking the gun is caliber-marked 32 Smith and Wesson, and Beth's friend saw that and thinks the gun is a Smith and Wesson.

    beth,tell him to take it to a gunshop or smith to see if its safe to shoot.if he has problems taking your advise then have him take pictures of his fingers so he will remember what they looked like. old semperfi

    If he cannot figure who the manufacturer is (it's stamped on the gun somewhere) then he probably shouldn't be shooting at all until he gets some safety training with guns. That's pretty scary, IMHO.:eek:

    he has many guns and knows how to use them he told me it looks me it looks like a 38 special but cheap plastic handle and all i can't get a hold of him till after 9 so i'll get back to you
