I went in to put a down payment on a Colt Officers Match revolver they suckered me in to buying, and they had a 1917 sitting there waiting for me, so I had to put that one on hold too.... (there goes my M1A money......:p)

the tin foil hat isn't working... they can still read my mind.....

By the way the Officers match is in 80% with an excellent bore

I sometimes feel like my local store is doing that to me, too. Except they know that I don't have any money any more (they got me once last week--my first handgun, a Sig Mosquito), so they just leave stuff out to taunt me!

The Officers is a .38 spec.

The 1917 is a Colt, those damn cylinders on the Smiths rotate the wrong way...

I've owned both Smith and Colt M1917's. I'm definitely a Smith fan but did like that Colt, the only one that fit my hand well.

sort of, I just love the feel of DA Colt revolvers (but I can't stand SAA's) but I wouldn't put it past me to use one for CC from time to time, and they will accompany me on many trips to the range....

The Officers Match will make a great target pistol for myself and the Mrs. and the 1917 is well just cool....

My 1962 Detective special is my second favorite carry gun...
