    Smok'n Hot not Tacti-cool

Remington Wingmaster 870 surplused by the California Highway Patrol with a replacement Remington 18.5 improved cylinder barrel, a vintage Jostam Hy-Gun recoil pad, checkering by Sycamore Hill Designs and wood refinishing by yours truly.

1956 Ithaca 37 with barrel cut to 18.5", a Galazan reproduction pad and a walnut stock with an ivory grip cap refinished by yours truly.

Cant beat wood for looks, Plastic has its places, but wood just looks right on a shotgun

Good looking guns! I too like the wood, I have 1 black .22, 1 black SKS, and 1 black .308, everything else wears wood!

Very nice. I like the wood on both of them.

The one below is modified Remington 1100. It`s not pretty, but it gets the job done.

I just love the looks of that blonde 870. It just looks serious.
The M37 is sweet though too. Nice scatterguns!

    Thank you

This is what the surplused California Highway Patrol Wingmaster looked like when I got it on an online auction:
