Well I killed the BUG and I picked up a S/A 1911-A1 the other day. Its not exactly what I wanted cause its Parkerized instead of OD Green, but I think it'll soot me just fine. I have not had the chance to take it to the range yet but I know it will need a trigger job. Im hoping that when I do get to shoot it that trigger bite wont be an issue like my micro compact cause I dont really want to change the hammer/grip safety. I want to put some gator backs on both the A1 and Micro Compact cause I dont want the nice U.S. panels damaged. So what do yall think of my 1911 combo?

Very nice but the bug will be back soon trust me, i thought i killed my bug also, but after the 36th 1911 in my safe, i'm buying another one tomorrow. this time its a colt officers acp that is being shipped to me from a gun shop in Nevada, i've been looking for one for awhile and finally got one in stainless steel. hope you enjoy your 1911's as much as i do. they are habit forming.
