My weapons caliber are good to home defense?

I have a carabine caliber .36 and a revolver caliber .38

I have a farm, and there a lot of thiefs in the area(Stoled a lot of guns from my dad)They steal cows and horses.

Smith&Wesson M&P Model 10 cal .38




And a Caliber .36(I also can fire a .44 caliber in this gun)

Welcome to the Forum! Those guns will work fine for a few thieves at a time. If you have more than a few you need more firepower!

The 38 pistol is fine. For the Mauser, I'd keep 44s in it. The 36 gauge shotshell is not real effective as an anti-personnel round. The shotshell only holds 15 grams of shot, the slug is less powerful than the 38 from the pistol. There is a buckshot round, but it only holds three pieces of shot. If I was going to keep the 36s in it, that's the one I would use, but I think you'd do better with the 44s.
