Mystery Mauser

    i recently got this mauser and would like to find out what type it is , it doesn't have any marking besides stamped serial #s on receiver and barrel.

    Looks like a Spanish 1895 in 7x57.

    Yep, a sporterized 1916 "unmarked" Spanish Mauser probably in 7 X 57 Mauser. Whoever did the sporterizing did a damn good job of it too.:)
