need help identifing worth of winchester and age

    My great-great uncle buster had this winchester lever action rifle, model 94-30 WCF and serial number, 1643231...can anyone help?

    Hi daymares29......welcome to TFF.

    Your uncle Buster's Model 94 should be a carbine, not a rifle. My list says it was made in 1949, and the Blue Book values it at:

    98% - $450
    95% - $415
    90% - $385
    80% - $350
    70% - $300
    60% - $275

    i think you will find that a PRE-64 MODEL 94, even a standard model .30-30 WCF is currently commanding at 2-3 times the above quoted book values...

    the fact that WIN has ceased producing the 94, that its a PRE-64, and the current spike in intrest in SASS / COWBOY ACTION SHOOTING have increased its value...

    finding a decent beat up shooter from the 70`s and 80`s will cost you over $500.00 in most cases today.
