Need help identifying a black powder rifle

    I need help identifying a muzzleloading rifle that has been handed down in a central North Carolina family for decades. Rough measurements suggest .44-.45 rifled caliber. Rifle is 53.5" long, octagon barrel is 38.5" Has no distinguishing marks or inscriptions. Front-action percussion lock. Has about a 3/4" dia. hole in the right side of the stock. Barrel is pinned to the stock. Lock is held in place by a single screw from opposite side (no metal on that
    side). Brass trigger guard. Two triggers with an adjustment screw between them. See photo at this link. -- thanks
