I have a full-size, large-frame, steel Witness 9mm and I want to know about the conversions. Already have a .22lr kit that came with it, but I want a .45. The EAA site lists a standard and a long slide. What's the difference? No one locally carries conversions, so i don't have a source for fit testing.

long slide is exactly what it says. Its longer than standard and a longer barrel. They do this for weight to reduce flip and increase the sight picture. Either will work.

Makes sense. There are 6 different magazine options. What is the difference there? My 9mm magazine is 18rd, so i should, presumably, be looking for the magazine in .45 that has about a 14-15rd capacity?

The mag differences are the overall length. Some of the competition mags extend beyond the bottom of the mag well. Just depends on if you want your mag flush to the well or extending 2 inches below.
