Does anyone own or have any experience with the New England Firearms Sportster in .22lr? I really like the NEF rifles and shotguns and know from experience that their 17HMR Sportster is an axcellent and accurate rifle. Google has failed me on this particular question, any input would be greatly appreciated ;)

7 pounds sucks for any kind of accuracy work. I heard you can send these in to NEF and have the trigger lightened, but I would hate to buy a new rifle and then immediately have to turn around and send it in for work and wait weeks to get it back. I don't know what happened, I have and old NEF 20 guage with a wonderful trigger. Seems all the recently made NEF's have very heavy triggers on them
