Just got my FFL C&R in record time! Less than three weeks! I was looking for any information for online C&R dealers that give discounts to FFL holders. Do I just send them a originally signed copy of the license?
Any Information would be helpful!:)

Congratulations and welcome to TFF!

Short list of wholesalers:

http://www.jgsales.com/
http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/New_Rifles_.html
http://www.centuryarms.com/

You have to send them an ink signed copy of your C&R FFL, then you'll get on a mailing distribution list and receive monthly(ish) fliers of C&R firearms at the wholesale price. I have purchased serveral items from SOG and have been happy to date.

Also, certain vendors like Midway USA will give you a dealer discount on their merchandise if you send them your signed license. Discount is usually enough to pay for the shipping, sometimes alot more with stuff like grips or optics.

Enjoy your C&R :D

Please note, you do not have an FFL, you have a Curio&Relic license. There is a major difference.
But welcome to the world of surplus and remember some folks will not ship to you C&R or not. Don`t fret, find another.
Pretty unlimited market.
Have fun!!

PS, save time and just fax a signed copy.
Thanks for the clarification. I know it is not a dealer's license, just a collectors. Anyway, How does this license work at gun shows. Can I purchase C&R weapons right at the table? Can I wait to get home and log them into my book?

C&R License is a FFL License. It's called FFL03 (C&R) as apposed to FFL01(Distributor-Dealer/Gunsmith)
Here is a list of discounters. Some require a fax, some will take a scanned pdf and I think a few still require mail in. Call them to see the best way. I know midway and brownells can give you discount on there web site with a few key strokes. Numrich you have call, fax in and provide them with a email address. They will then email you a dealer number that you use when you sign up for an account online.
Don't bother with the big stores (you should know who they are). they act like the FFL03 dosen't exist. I traded a C&R shotgun to one of them and I asked for there FFL# so I could enter it into my bound book for disposition. He told me that they don't give it out to anyone and a C&R holder didn't matter.:eek: I get audited just like you do pal......

I know this may not be the correct place to ask, but my beloved postal delivery person took it upon himself to return my c&r app back to sender. So I sent another request by the website and told him if he did it again he would have a hard time delivering mail. Question is does anyone maybe have an exta application by chance. Thanks:(

I am not 100% sure of this but I think I got my original copy from the ATF website 7 or 8 years ago. I just looked at their website and they no longer have it on the site for downloading.

You can call the ATF Distribution Center at (703) 455-7801 and a packet will be sent to you via U.S. mail. (this is copied from the ATF web site.

Gdmoody, Thanks for the number. Talked to the lady that answered the phone at the ATF you gave me and explaned what had happened and she took my info down and said she would resend the application with a tracking # by UPS. In about 4 hours later I recieved a call back from her with a tracking #. Now thats service..
