Dan, that pistol is plain ugly. Why don't you let me take it off your hands,,, oh no, no, no. Really, it's ok because it's the least I can do. What else are good friends for?

Yea, I really should send it to you instead of tossing it in the trash...nah, I think I am just going to get whatever scrap metal prices will bring me...;)

Now the only question is --- Will those purty grips make u a better shot? They look good Dan and once again Carl comes thru.

No, but I am a good enough shot to get the job done already so they just make me better looking while doing it. ;)

    Can't... afford... 1911... :(

I'm jealous Dan. Can't say I've seen anything purtier.

    Gripwise on a 1911 that is.:p

I didnt rush him. Probably about a week or so depending on how detailed your grips are.

Thanks for that answer Dan. It all depends on the complexity of the design, and the wait for the wood to come in, as I usually have to order the wood.

All i can say is the ones hes working on for me are going to be awsome!!:ya:
Just from seeing a practis run of the inlay on some scrap wood.
And he is quick in my opinion.
My girls are going to love them.:D
And Carl is great to talk to.
I've only talked to him a couple of times, but it's like talking to an old friend.

The only down side to MY grips is I told him i'd pick them up at the TFF TX BBQ.
    OH the wait is aganizing:(
But it's going to be worth it. :D
Don't worry I'll post them for you all on here.;)
