Santa wants to know what I want for Christmas....and I want some night sights for my Glock 23. I have researched and found several that seem to be good, and I would like to get some feedback from all of you.

Here is what I have found:

    - Trijicon - ($75.00) - has white rings around tritium lamps for day time shooting.....but not adjustable.

    - Trijicon Novak - ($109.00) - same as above.

    - SureSight - not actually night sights, but very bright in day and low light....very easy, fast sight allignment....not adjustable

    - XS Sight Big Dot ($100.00) - seems to be the latest craze...very easy, fast sight allignment (dot the "I")....big dot can cover sight picture.

    - TruGlo Brite-Site Tritium/Fiber Optic Sight ($100.00) - also seems to be the latest craze....tritium and fiber optic for night and daytime.

Yes indeed! I have no trouble with my eyes focusing on them on my nightstand in total darkness either, which was the most pleasant surprise. My eyes don't seem all that bad!

I have Trijicon on my Glock; they get my vote.

My 1911's have Novak's with Trijicon inserts.

Depends on Uncle Sam's whim every 3 yrs.
I like Trijicon tritium....seen too many fiber optics fall off/break.

Keep in mind, almost any tritium sight manufacturer buys their inserts from Trijicon.

I have quite a few pistols, rifles, and shotguns with night sights. For rifles and shotguns I like the basic Trijicons. For pistols, I prefer the TruGlo tritium/fiberoptics. Most night sights are just metal sights during the day, but the TFOs glow the same whether it's day or night.

As for durability, I have a set of the TruGlos on a Glock that I've carried everywhere from the desert to the mountains/ under a suit and in a thigh rig. Haven't had a problem with them yet.
