well as we all see, there are alot of questions we all have about how this bill might take effect. I hope we all can update the status of the bill here and keep informed about it

I did and now know less about the affect of the law than I thought I did before I read ito_O

    Soooo
So it stands to reason that a person could make their own suppressor for personal use if this passes no???????

The bill will pass and there will be a Senate version also
Then when they both pass they will go to committee
And the outcome of that will be the finished product

I would assume so, but you know what assume means;). It's way to early to predict the outcome of a final bill on this.

    I just want my $200.00 back.:D

So are you guys saying that I jumped the gun by center drilling and tapping to 1/2"×28 that 3/4-16 bolt that seems to screw into an oil filter?

That thing doesn't work. I have two of them and they are great for screwing on to the end of the barrel to catch the cleaning solvent in the oil filter, but not good for anything else.;):rolleyes:

Nothing works very well until your muzzle velocity is below 900 fps. Maybe 7- 8 grains of unique with a 180 grain bullet in a 3006?

At first little but once competition kicks in the drop will be dramatic.

I heard this was introduced in the senate by Crapo, s. 59 I believe. I already wrote my senators too bad my gun loving democrat senators from Michigan always side with anti-gunners, however always say they love the second amendment during re-election times

Suppressors make a huge difference even with supersonic ammo...a lot of hunters due to loss of hearing for various reasons use hearing protection when hunting....a Suppressor eliminates that....the supersonic crack happens way out in front of you and it deadens the explosion coming out of end of barrel to a very low level compared to not having Suppressor....IMO they are worth every penny....If this passes I will have several more...I also load and shoot subsonic rounds and the best is 300 Blackout because that is what it was designed for, 220 grain bullet 1000fps out of a barrel as short as 10 inches....designed more as a military application, but also useful in the hunting world....no louder than a pellet rifle...
