Ok I bought another knife today and Im SURE some will say that Im a knucklehead ...I THINK it is from WWII and it is marked on the very thick and heavy blade J.J.B. 1944 with an arrow pointed up ...so can anyone tell me anything about this knife and a ballpark value?

I did some looking but couldn't really pin down a decisive value. Anywhere from 100-200 with the sheath. Is one on ebay with the sheath and a 200.00 buy it now price.

OFC, that 'arrow pointing up' is commonly known as the British 'broad arrow'. It's the British War Department stamp, as in government property. J.J.B. is the maker, natch... J.J. Beal.
Lots of these were made for the Pacific war, and then later during the Britsh involvement in Malaysia and Indonesia. They are fairly common but 65 is a decent price sans scabbard.
