Not sure what it means it also has a jg and gm carving on the handle of gun. Just wondering if its worth something?

    Any help would be appreciated.

The info you gave is nowhere near enough to make any kind of judgment.

The crowns over the U and the G are German proofmarks. The crown over G is blackpowder, the crown over U is inspected. Don't even know if you are speaking of a pistol, rifle or shotgun. Much more information is needed, and pictures would be a BIG help.

Crown/B = Proved in finished condtion
    Crown/U = Definitive proof
Crown/B = Proof for rifled barrels

Collectors refer to the combination as the "bug" proof.

Thanks to all that put a reply

the gun is single shot pistol not sure what year it was made. has a JG and MG carving on the handle next to trigger. The BUG carving is on right side of barrel with a 6 m/m carving. Also has a B snd U carving on the back of barrel where you would load it. Its a gold color with a small handle with a single screw holding wood covers for handle. The gun it's self is 12inches long from tip of barrell to back of handle. Barrell is 9 inches. Seems tobe in good condition has marks on the barrell looks to be from firing. Just looking for a round about price of what its worth. Again any ifo is appreciatted.

I hope this is a little better describtion. Working on getting pictures. Thanks again

Pictures will definitely be needed to give you valid information, but it sounds like you have a 6MM Flobert saloon or parlor pistol, Made for indoor shooting using a very low cost cartridge. ( No powder, primer alone propels the bullet.

Without pictures to look at, I'd guesstimate $10 to $10,000 depending on rarity, condition, engraving, plating, maker, grade of wood, checkering, rifling, blueing, provenance etc. Hope that helps.
