So, I managed to acquire, as a gift, this very nice, old scope. Unfortunately, my digital camera is broken, so pics are not available.

It is a 4-10 Power German scope with the following markings:

    NICKEL-SCOPES-MARBURG/L
    SUPRA-VARIPOWER-4-10XE/O D.P. Ser.Nr. 141xxx
    MADE IN GERMANY

Does this scope have any value? Its in used condition but it appears to work fine. I'm reluctant to attach it to a rifle if it's valuable or has historical significance.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Jim

Company Nickel belonged to the well-known Hertel & REUSS.
    This is a Nickel 4X10

Quality scope value in the the $100-$125 range.
Not rare enough to be a collectable.
    Use it.
