I just ordered a Pietta copy of the Colt 1873 .44 cal percussion pistol. Yes, I know that was actually a cartridge 6 shooter, but I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with the percussion version?
I got a BP Uberti 1873 in 2008 when Calebas cleared them out on line for only $250 delivered. Mostly they are sold in the European market. Never have shot mine. Pretty gun and well made.
And NO there is no conversion cylinders for it. The firing pin is off set on the hammer and frame..
